Dangerous Wood Burner Installation

Please be aware that any installations should be carried out by someone that is HETAS certified, as you can see from the photo someone has installed the liner the wrong way up. This will lead to a chimney fire and a breakdown of your liner in no time at all.

If the liner is the wrong way up, it means the soot can build up quickly and has no where to go when it is swept.

Wood Burner Installation Maidstone

This installation was designed to suit an old victorian fireplace with the original red enamel tiles, the woodturner is an Aspect 5, a lot of customers like this wood burner because it is a single large door that shows a lot of flame. It has original brick work, and some old rusty angle either side to blend in with the look. The larger flue pipe is insulated because of the existing beam that was already in situ.

This wood burner installation in sheerness consists of a new twin wall chimney, as there was no exciting chimney in place. This installation has a stainless steel finish, with a 5 Kw ACR stove. This stove is slightly different because it is wall hanging, the Hearth is a dark indian stone.

This Wood Burner installation in maidstone was Slightly more tricky than you average installation, the chimney liner had to be put down the chimney using a cherry picker. The Wood Burner also had a back boiler on it which had to be connected up to the radiators.

Wood Burner Installation Rochester

This Wood Burner installation in Rochester was a large project from start to finish, a new flue was installed because there was no existing chimney. We also built a new chimney breast out of a metal stud work and fire proof plaster, after the chimney breast was complete we tiled the inside of the chamber with beveled white tiles, with cosmic grey grout. Once the chamber was complete we then installed the grey hearth and wood burner. The final touch was to get the carpet re cut to fit around the hearth just after the plastering and painting was completed.
