Our Terms of Service: The “Everwarm Promise”
At Everwarm Fires, we pride ourselves on being transparent and easy to work with. These terms are designed to ensure we are both on the same page so that your installation is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
1. Booking Your Installation
To secure your place in our diary and allow us to order your specific stove and materials, we require a 50% deposit. Once this is received, your date is locked in!
- Please note: Deposits are used to purchase your goods and are generally non-refundable once materials have been dispatched to us.
2. Settling the Balance
We know you’ll be excited to get your first fire started! The remaining 50% balance is due immediately upon the physical completion of the installation.
- The HETAS Certificate: We handle all the paperwork for your HETAS certification. Please note that while we register the job immediately, the physical certificate is issued by HETAS and can take around 15–30 days to arrive in the post.
- Because the installation is finished and tested by our engineers on the day, payment cannot be withheld while waiting for this certificate to arrive.
3. Helping Us Protect Your Home
We treat every home we enter with the utmost respect. To help us keep your room pristine:
- Clear the Stage: We kindly ask that you move furniture, rugs, and any delicate ornaments out of the room before we arrive.
- Dust & Soot: Even with the best vacuum systems, stove work can be a bit dusty. While we use professional-grade covers, moving your soft furnishings (like cushions and curtains) or covering them is the best way to keep them “showroom clean.”
- Our Liability: We’ll do the heavy lifting for the stove, but we cannot be held responsible for any dust or damage to personal items left in the work zone.
4. If We Find the “Unexpected”
Chimneys can be full of surprises! Our quotes assume your chimney is structurally sound and clear. If we start work and find a major blockage (like an old bird’s nest or collapsed brickwork) that wasn’t visible during the survey, we will stop and chat with you immediately. We’ll always provide a fair price for any extra labor needed to make the flue safe.
5. Keeping Your Warranty Safe
To keep your stove happy and your warranty valid, remember to:
- Only burn “Ready to Burn” wood (less than 20% moisture).
- Have your chimney swept by a pro at least once a year.
